We are extremely excited to bring to you our newest Lightspeed Saber team: Rockville Saber Academy.

League member Chris Stadther is stepping up to the role of Squadron Leader to run this team, made up of intermediate to competitive level foil fencers from Rockville Fencing Academy in Washington DC, who are expanding their repertoire to include Lightspeed Saber fencing. This is a dedicated and enthusiastic team with a strong fencing background and great interest in lightsaber fencing.

Their goal is to bring more Olympic fencers into Lightspeed by providing an opportunity for year-round fencing activities and another outlet for their skills.

They practice at Rockville Fencing Academy, 15221 Display Court, Rockville MD 20850 on Sundays. Swing by if you’re in the area!
