There’s a new power rising. Whispers of a Dark Ascension have reached our hallowed halls. We must prepare our pupils to repel the coming darkness. They are eager but unready. Trial and tribulation shall become their new master. Only in contest will they discover just how far their light shall shine throughout the galaxy.” - Master Nivek
The Temple Trials, Basin Saber Academy’s next Lightspeed Saber League Open Tournament, happens April 29, 2023 at United Evangelical Free Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m.
Basin Saber Academy will be hosting drawing for a Guardian saber! Every contestant is entered into the drawing and earns additional entries for each win and honor call. We’ll even throw in an extra entry for out-of-state competitors for making the long trip.
This will also be our first tournament allowing for the new Dyad saber class. So what are you waiting for? Come compete for honor, for the light side, and if nothing else, for a better chance at taking home a sweet Guard Saber!

1” midgrade blades (≤1.5mm walls) will be permitted for parrying saber.
Fencers must demonstrate upon check-in the ability to use distinctive blade hues in each Dyad saber so judges can tell them apart. Colors may be altered between matches subject to approval by officials.
